Collaboration with Guy Savoy

After revelling in a meal at Guy Savoy's restaurant, Beyne decided to embark on a collaborative adventure with Savoy, giving rise to five beautiful glass containers, entitled gouttes d’eau - or water droplets. Throughout his meal, Laurent Beyne was flooded with emotions that evoked thoughts of simplicity and surprise. Beyne tucked these emotions safely away in his memory and called upon them while creating the unique pieces featured in this collection. This singular technique allowed him to created pieces that are in perfect harmony with the spirit of the kitchen and the restaurant as a whole. A salt shaker, a pepper shaker, a candleholder and two butter dishes - one for salted and the other for unsalted - are now placed at each table, as if they had always been a part of the Guy Savoy Restaurant’s dinning room located in Monnaie de Paris.
